Dental Student Education

Undergraduate dental education is one of the top academic priorities in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Over the next two years, the educational programs for dental students in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery will be completely redesigned and expanded. There are presently five MUSC CDM courses presently offered by the department:

  •  OMFS-801: Oral Surgery I
  •  OMFS-805: Comprehensive Control of Pain and Anxiety
  •  OMFS-806: Clinical Pathophysiology/Common Medical Conditions
  •  CLNDM-841: Hospital Oral Surgery Rotation
  •  OMFS-855: Advanced Concepts in OMFS
