Cancellation Policy

This policy pertains to continuing education programs at the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at MUSC.

Payment

To complete online registrations, full payment is required. We accept payments in the form of American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and checks made payable to MUSC College of Dental Medicine - Continuing Education office.

Cancellation Policy & Program Disclaimer

Please note that all cancellations are subject to a $50 processing fee. If a written notice of cancellation is received 30 days prior to the course, a full refund of the registration fee, minus the processing fee, will be provided. For cancellations received after 30 days but up to one week prior to the course, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds will be given within one week prior to the course, and "no-shows" are not eligible for a refund. Cancellation notices should be sent in writing via email to cdmcecourses@musc.edu, MUSC College of Dental Medicine, Continuing Education office.

Consent Clause

By registering for and participating in MUSC College of Dental Medicine meetings and activities, you agree that your image or voice may be captured and used in recordings, including live and on-demand broadcasts, photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities. These materials may be utilized by MUSC College of Dental and other third parties, including the venue, host city, and host CVB. Additionally, please be aware that your virtual registration may include technology that monitors your activities during the meeting, such as session attendance and virtual booth visits.

Program Disclaimer

The MUSC College of Dental Medicine reserves the right to make updates to the programming as necessary and without prior notice. In the event of any necessary substitutions or changes, all materials will be appropriately updated. Please be advised that all programs and events are subject to change and/or cancellation due to scheduling conflicts, low registration, or circumstances beyond the control of the MUSC College of Dental Medicine. The MUSC College of Dental Medicine is not responsible for any travel expenses or penalties incurred under any circumstances. In the event of a cancellation by the MUSC College of Dental Medicine, all registered participants will receive a full refund of any registration fees paid. By attending the course, attendees consent to the photographing, videotaping, audiotaping, webcasting, and usage of their images by the MUSC College of Dental Medicine in association publications, on the MUSC College of Dental Medicine website, and in marketing and promotional materials.
