Course description
Endodontists provide dental patients with more than just cleaning, shaping, and filling root canal systems. Working collaboratively with various dental specialists offers the chance to deliver comprehensive care, often involving complex, interdisciplinary treatment.

This case-based, interactive session will examine clinical decision-making and treatment planning in endodontics, emphasizing the vital and creative role endodontic therapy plays in periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implant dentistry.

Using detailed case histories, participants will be guided through diagnosis, case selection, and the impact of endodontics on overall treatment outcomes. Audience participation is encouraged throughout, with the question “What would you do here?" posed to stimulate discussion.

After the group discussion, treatment approaches, including the treatment plan, clinical rationale, and follow-up results showing success and lessons learned, will be presented.
