Course description
Endodontists have much more to offer dental patients than simply cleaning, shaping, and obturating root canal systems. Practicing in collaboration with multiple dental specialists provides the opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care, which often involves complex and lengthy interdisciplinary treatment.
This case-based, interactive session will explore clinical decision-making and treatment planning in endodontics, highlighting the creative and essential role endodontic therapy contributes to periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implant dentistry.
Through the presentation of detailed case histories, participants will be guided through the diagnostic process, case selection considerations, and the ways endodontics can significantly influence overall treatment outcomes. Audience participation is encouraged throughout the program as the question will be posed, “What would you do here?”
Following group discussion, treatment planning approaches will be presented, including treatment approach, clinical rationale, and long-term follow-up results demonstrating treatment success and lessons learned.
